About Me 

Hi! I'm Genesis.

 

My passion for social media began in middle school from managing fan pages (on Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, you name it) to even embarking on my own content creation adventures. My passion for the digital world led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a concentration in Public Relations from Cal State University, Fullerton. My academic journey helped nurture my love for creativity, marketing, and community.

 

Along this path, I've gathered over a year of hands-on experience in the digital marketing landscape, as an intern at a creative marketing agency, through freelancing, and by volunteering with non-profit organizations. The most impactful part of my journey, helping non profits within my community raise awareness about their missions.

 

At the core of my approach is the idea of community. It's not just about amassing followers; it's about nurturing a community of new and loyal supporters who will stick with you. I believe that building strong connections is the key to a brand's booming success.  

 

Although I'm deeply focused on a more strategic approach to social media, I also have an enduring love for the creative side. Aesthetics matter, and I believe in crafting visually appealing content that resonates with your audience.
 

As a Latina with Zapotec Indigenous roots, I understand firsthand the challenges faced by underrepresented communities. Which is why I've chosen to focus on supporting BIPOC-owned businesses and creatives. I'm here to be a tool and guide for all, by using my passion for digital media to help you thrive.
